This course run over 2 days in the classroom.

This course offers a great introduction to navigation and safety awareness for new or inexperienced skippers and crew, and those wanting to refresh their skills. In fact it is for anyone interested in sailing, motor boating, sea angling or diving, and works well in complementing our on-the- water Powerboat Level 2 and Helmsman courses.

This is a highly informative course with lots of opportunities for you to put your new found knowledge into practice. We use demonstration and practical exercises to help reinforce the information and lots of chances to try out what you’ve learned.

We place a strong emphasis on ‘Rule of the Road’ and try to bring this into all aspects of the course.

You can start learning right now by visiting the Blog section of this website.

  • Charts and Publications
